Theft from a vehicle St Marys Road Rushden


 

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after a Items/power tools were stolen from a car in St Marys Road Rushden.

The theft occurred between 16th April 2024 20:00HRS and 17th April 06:30HRS when the item(s) was/were stolen from the vehicle whilst it was parked on St Marys Road..

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 24000223189 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

  • Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road.  Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible
  • Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft
  • Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g  Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection 
  • Please Please Please! don't leave anything of value in your cars. Don't make it easy for the thieves.
