Dear Resident, Just to make your aware of a repeat burglary at a retail unit at Oundle Wharf. Criminials cut the main phone wires to the Wharf businesses & also removed cameras. Whilst there has been disruption to the Wharf businesses I am pleased to report nothing was stolen on this occasion. Business burglary Ensure your premises are alarmed. If you are in a remote location, your alarm should be remotely monitored and any confirmed activations forwarded directly to police for response.Make sure your premises has good lighting covering access points and dark or hidden areasInvest in CCTV to deter and detect crimeRetailers should leave their tills empty overnight with till drawer left open to avoid any damageValuable items should be stored within a securely locked cupboard/cage within the buildingPCSO Tim Butter
