Distraction Burglary, Scams and Fraud Prevention Event – 26 February 2020

On Wednesday 26 February from 13:00 – 16:30 Northamptonshire Police, Trading Standards and Neighbourhood Watch will be relaunching the Doorstep crime Action Network (DAN) to help prevent distraction burglary and rogue trading offences. The event is specifically aimed at service providers, organisations, carers, friends and family who support the older community within Northamptonshire. The Doorstep crime Action Network is about bringing together members of the public, private, charity, and community sector organisations to pass on simple crime prevention messages and help to prevent those vulnerable.

We will also be providing advice and guidance on recognising and preventing a number of different Scams and Fraud and are pleased to welcome guest speaker Marilyn Baldwin founder of TH!NK JESSiCA.

If you would like to attend, please contact the police Crime Prevention team on crimeprevention@northants.pnn.police.uk
